Arcadia’s Pangea

Are you a creative thinker?

Be inspired and involved with Arcadia’s Pangea and enter the dawn of a new era and a primordial world of infinite possibilities.

Arcadia invites you the public to come on this adventure and to take inspiration from the prehistoric supercontinent where every land on earth was one and the future was yet to be written. Get involved for Glastonbury 2020 as a fresh evolutionary journey begins toward a new show in the sky.

After decades of service at Avonmouth docks a giant pulsating repurposed structure sits at Pangea’s heart surrounded by primeval fire with the Glastonbury spirit flooding through its DNA.

Thousands of people contributed to the Spider’s evolution from a tripod stage to the Metamorphosis show and an extraordinary collaboration of creative minds created something greater than the sum of its parts.

Arcadia Reach

After a year of street carnivals with Arcadia Reach, The iconic Bug supported by Arts Council England returns to Glastonbury and will spread its wings every sunset to reveal a heavyweight party line up, rolling out vibrant colour, riddims, roots and soul. There will also be a procession on Thursday with Extinction Rebellion and something special on Sunday afternoon with crews from Glasto Latino and Arcadia Reach.

You can find the Arcadia Reach team every day between 5 and 7 pm by the black Mercedes truck parked by the bar where you can get more project info on the project and find Arcadia merchandise – 100% of the profits go to Arcadia Reach.

Arcadia Reach projects benefit communities and this wonderful non profit community interest company has achieved great things such as building a fire engine for a Calais a refugee camp, hosting creative welding workshops for thousands of children and collaborating with community carnivals around the UK.

Following a research mission, Arcadia Reach is beginning to fundraise for the next phase of the development of a robust 4×4 well drilling rig to improve water access in rural Sierra Leone, helping create a cycle of sustainable agriculture with the local community. With partner organisation Rory’s Well it has been demonstrated that the new rig can put in solar powered wells at thirty times the current rate so this project is going to be yet another much needed resource for people.
