Worthy Causes
Worthy Causes for 2020 include the twenty two metre high Interactive Rave Tree in the Greenpeace Field at Glastonbury with a cabin for special guest DJ’s and lit up branches, ever popular eco-friendly hot showers, lush plant-based café and all-female skate team on the skate ramp. The Greenpeace stage will be crammed with special performances and there will be BEAM, a must-see immersive and multi sensory collaboration expressed through light, sound and music with Nottingham artist Wolfgang Buttress who is famous for his Hive sculpture that highlights the plight of the bees and existential challenges facing the pollinators. BEAM is a multi-sensory, immersive, sculptural experience where vibration sensors are utilised to measure the activity of the black bee colonies living on Worthy farm.
